Customize Your Weight Loss Menu

weight loss menu
Customized weight loss menus are not available; and if they are available at all, most often they do not work to your benefit. So what should be the perfect weight loss menu be like and where can you get the person who will make the best menu for you? The answer is simply, YOU!
Yes, you read it right. It is you and no one else who can make the perfect menu. One of the easy ways to lose weights is by formulating a perfect weight loss menu. Regarding the perfect menu, there are in fact, more myths than facts that the general populace knows. It is actually easy to customize your own weight loss menu, provided you know yourself very well. That sounds a bit weird right? After all, we know ourselves the best - who else knows us better? If that was true - then why can't you lose weight and eat what is suitable for you?
One more person who can help you out with this menu dilemma is your mother - as they say, mom knows best! Your mother is the only person who knows you more than you know yourself - after all, she raised you! So how to go about customizing your menu? But before that, we would like to burst a few myth bubbles on diet, floating around us.
• Fruits: One might think that what harm could fruits possibly cause us? One of the most common problems with a fruit is - allergy. Some people have citrus allergy, i.e. they can't have citrus fruits like lemon and oranges. Other myth that needs to be addressed here is that people need to understand that complete dependence on fruits will not make them lose weight faster. That is because, fruits contain fruit sugar - or fructose. In the long run, that might increase your blood sugar levels - same as high glucose corn syrup can.
Whatever you have, that should be in moderation. Moreover, they will not provide a proper bulk to your fecal matter. Carbohydrates are needed too! For a greater bulk - you need to have more fruits - that means more sugars.
• Cooked Food vs. Processed Food: Regarding processed food, there should not be any doubt in your mind that they are a strict no-no when eating to lose weight. This is because they are high in salt and sugar and other preservatives that help maintain its keeping quality and aid in a proper shelf life. Fresh, cooked food is any day better than heat-and-eat processed foods.
• Go Organic: Organic is the hottest fad in town and if you ask us, that is the way to go. Simply because, such a vegetable or a fruit has been grown with utmost care and the best resources possible - without any use of pesticides and are clean from any insect attack. Needless to say, they retain more minerals and vitamins than their other counterparts.
Pick and eat which suits you the best. After all, you're your own's best judge!
