Quick Weight Loss - Get Organized to Lose Weight

Quick Weight Loss
Quick Weight Loss Coach Destress Tip #- De-stress Your Morning
As a weight loss coach, it is not uncommon for many of my clients to be living a busy, hectic life. One of the major things that can side track a weight loss or wellness intention is getting out of the house on time in the morning, especially when you have children. Learning to put new habits in place around organizing and planning is an important part of the solution and learning to shift from this pattern! Managing ourselves around time is one of the most important and effective organizing tasks that help reduce stress and allow us the time to take care of ourselves.
Quick Weight Loss Coach Destress Tip #2- Prioritize Your Items
Simple solutions often get neglected. Take a look at your morning routine, list them out and then prioritize them. As you look at your list see if there is anything you can possibly eliminate. You may realize that some of what you do in the morning can easily be done in the evening after dinner. Now, you may be like my daughter and not like this idea. She like her nights to do her homework, hang out with her friend and basically chill out and relax. She does not enjoy making her lunch, setting up her snack and water bottle for the next day and often leaves it for the next morning. Inevitably the nights she chooses to skip this task are followed by mornings of stress, lateness and yes even a touch of crabbiness on both our parts. I often hear similar stories from clients and on those days they usually aren't prepared for their day like they want to be and end up on the short end of their nutrition, exercise plan or both. The question to pose to yourself is, "If it is a task that you have to do anyway wouldn't you want to choose a time that meets your needs the best and puts your best foot forward?" Isn't 10 minutes of I don't feel like it worth 30 minutes of your morning going smoothly?
Quick Weight Loss Coach Destress Tip #3- Eliminate What You Can & Ask For Help
As a weight loss coach I see clients that can eliminate some things all together. For instance, some clients have trouble asking for help or are so used to doing everything for everyone, that they don't even question whether they have to or should be doing it any longer. If you are a parent that is used to making breakfast your your kids, because they were little and they couldn't, than yes, it's necessary. But how old are they now?
  • Do you still need to make breakfast, can you teach them how now that they are a little older?
  • Can they help out with small chores that make your day a little easier?
  • Can they help with their lunches by making a sandwich or packing snacks?
  • Even a small child of 5 can help unload the dishwasher or pick up around the house.
  • If you make it a little fun and rewarding it goes much smoother.
  • Make it easy and less time consuming by making a chore chart.
  • Can they bring down the laundry?
  • Can they vacuum?
  • Set the table?
Here are some for you
  • Gas in the car?
  • Lunch packed?
  • Briefcase by the door?
  • Wallet, pocket book and keys ready to go?
  • Snacks in car, desk and purse, lunch?
  • Water bottles in car, desk?
  • Gym bag or sneakers in car to go for a workout or walk?
  • Appointments in calendar two weeks ahead to plan for workouts.
  • Dry cleaning pick up service? Zoots.com
  • Grocery list printed out and ready to go or grocery service set up Peapod? [If you have tried this in the past and not liked the product quality, try it again and let them know your concerns and issues. They want this to work so help them out by letting them know what is not working for you when you ordered.]
  • Personal helpers HELP. Online you can get personal helpers for a very low cost. They can really be a blessing when you need that extra help.
  • Cleaning service. You can get them for about 80-100 or less to clean your whole house, you don;t have to do it every week, Once a month will get you out of the weeds.
I make mine a month at time with a few blank boxes for the things I need to add on at the last minute. I fill it out once a month will an occasional add in and my kids are able to know in advance what they need to do and manage it wonderfully. They get rid of the tasks on their chores before I need to even ask them. It's a win, win situation because I get help and they don't have to listen to me nag them. Now it did take some effort to get to this point it wasn't as if they asked to help me or wanted to help me but it was worth every effort times 100 for how much easier my life is now.
